Neurosciences ranked among 'Best' in U.S. for 17 consecutive years
U.S. News and World Report recently released its list of Best Children's Hospitals, ranking multiple pediatric specialties based on excellence in clinical services, outcomes, patient experience, and reputation. For the 17th consecutive year, the Neurology and Neurosurgery departments of The Jane and John Justin Institute for Mind Health are ranked among the best pediatric programs in the United States. Cook Children's Neurology and Neurosurgery departments continue to grow with a focus on easily accessible, well-coordinated, comprehensive evaluation and treatment for our patients.
The Neurology and Neurosurgery faculty includes over 20 pediatric neurologists and three neurosurgeons providing care at our main campus in Fort Worth and 13 other sites serving the North and West Texas regions and beyond.
In addition, this year marks the first year that U.S. News has collected data in preparation for ranking programs in Behavioral Health. While official program rankings will begin in 2025, the Justin Institute is proud to acknowledge the divisions of Psychiatry and Psychology which received favorable scores in this year's survey.
Scott Perry, M.D., Head of Neurosciences said, "I am so proud of our staff, our administration, and our community. Less than a year after the Justin Institute opened, it is an honor to receive recognition for the quality work our teams do each day to provide the best care for the children in our care. I look forward to continuing to grow our presence and improve the services we provide our community."
